That was a wake-up call because shortly after returning to work, I realized that I couldn't continue in that job. It was, just a job. Yes, the salary was good and my position was good but I got absolutely no joy out of that job. Most of the time, I was miserable and I never felt as if there was any value in what I was doing. I was always fascinated with people who said they loved their jobs because I had no idea what that felt like.
So, it was time to make a bold move!
And we did. David and I put our house on the market, sold it and moved the family to Raleigh, North Carolina. I quit my job and I am a new stay-at-home mom. Wow! That is strange to say.
Life has been interesting since July. I'm learning a lot about myself and trying to figure out what makes me happy. I don't plan on being a stay-at-home forever so but I really want a job that I can embrace.
So, that's my mission.
Stay tuned......
